Huffines' Enterprises 2026 Spring Internship Reflection
2026 Spring Intern, Rocky Vennetti
As spring comes to a close, our intern at Huffines Enterprises reflects on the past four months and the experience gained. Throughout the program, they contributed to a range of projects across the company, supporting teams in project management, financial analysis, operations, and marketing. From reviewing plans and budgets to assisting with contracts, tracking financials, and creating digital content, the internship provided a well-rounded look at the real estate development process. With a stronger foundation in the industry, here’s what they had to say about their time here:

What is your favorite memory from this spring?
Attending the Serenade groundbreaking in Celina. It was really great to be there and see the Mayor of Celina at the event.
What is your best piece of advice for future interns?
Ask questions and always check in to see if others need help. Don't just wait at your desk; be proactive.
What is the most interesting thing you learned this semester?
Learning about how many different moving parts there are in a real estate development project. There are so many different people and teams involved, and learning how to navigate that and keep things moving despite the day-to-day challenges has been really eye-opening.
